Members must be an up-to-date financial member for at least 12 months to be eligible.

Construction Skills Queensland Members

Construction Skills Queensland is an independent, not-for-profit, industry-funded body supporting employers, workers, apprentices, trainees and career seekers in the building and construction industry.

CSQ provides funding to reduce the financial obstacle to training, making upskilling an affordable option for many more individuals in the construction industry.

CSQ-funded training is delivered by a range of selected registered training organisations (RTOs) across Queensland.

CSQ contributes towards the cost of courses to reduce the cost to participants. CSQ funding is paid directly to the contracted RTO, generally between 75% and 100% of course costs.

For more information about eligibility and courses visit www.csq.org.au

Industry Assocation Members

Members of industry associations, the Master Plumbers Association of Queensland (MPAQ), the National Fire Industry Association (NFIA) and the Air-conditioning and Mechanical Contractors Association (AMCA) are eligible for subsidised training with CEPUTEC.

Members must be current financial members.

What is a Unique Student Identifier (USI)?

If you study any Nationally Recognised Training in Australia, you are required to have a USI. Your USI links to an online account that contains all your training records and results (transcripts) that you have completed since 2015.

When applying for a job or enrolling in further study, you will often need to provide your training records and results (transcript). The benefit of the USI is the ability to provide learners with easy access to their training records at any time.

You can access your USI account online from your computer, tablet or smart phone.

If you do not already have a USI, go to www.usi.gov.au/students/create-your-usi/ on a computer or mobile device.

Note: A USI must be supplied to CEPUTEC during enrolment so that a Nationally Recognised Qualification or Statement of Attainment can be issued to you.

For further information, please see the video under Learner Resources.
