and Safety Representative (HSR) Refresher Training Course<\/p>\n","course_overview":"<p>This WorkSafe approved refresher course provides an opportunity for those who have previously completed the HSR Initial OHS Training Course to refresh their knowledge of the identification and assessment of common workplace hazards.\u00a0 The course will also provide HSRs with any important updates to the Work Health and Safety Regulation.<\/p>\n<p>All elected HSRs and Deputy HSRs after completing an initial course of training, have an entitlement (for each year they hold office) to attend Refresher training at least every three (3) years.<\/p>\n","learning_outcomes":"<p>The learning objectives of the course is to provide information that could include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A general update on legislation<\/li>\n<li>Risk management specific to an industry or hazards<\/li>\n<li>HSR entitlements and powers<\/li>\n<li>HSR skills classroom and practical settings or at a specified work location which will be confirmed prior to course commencement.
